Bonaire

No Caribbean island is praised so often and regularly for its incredible diving grounds and awarded as Bonaire.

Whether you are snorkeling or scuba diving, you will find an impressively beautiful underwater world. And the beaches are also impressive.

Turquoise blue sea, pearly white beach and miles of sections where you can just walk through the sand, make a holiday on Bonaire to an absolute high point. With a rental car you are independent and can explore the island and its highlights on your own.

The island of Bonaire is geographically part of the Lesser Antilles. Politically, she is together with her uninhabited side island Klein Bonaire a special municipality of the Netherlands. It is the second largest of the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao). The island is especially attractive for tourists due to the underwater world.

The total area is 288 square kilometers, the population about 18,000. The capital of the island is Kralendijk (a degeneration of Koralendijk) ; the oldest settlement is Rincon.
